Welcome to the Australian Physie & Dance Association Redlands Studio (APDA), a professional association offering a new vision for physie.
Under the direction of Australia’s finest creative physie instructors and choreographers, APDA aims to bridge the gap between the traditional school of physie and the world of contemporary dance, to create an innovative dance sport that reflects physie and dance for the 21st century.

Physie has always been fantastic for flexibility, strength and control. The new physie and dance focus is on using correct ballet technique and core strength, including popular styles like jazz, funk, hip hop and lyrical into the syllabus, we aim to create, strong, well-rounded routines for all age groups.
Redlands Physie and Dance Studio was established in 1998 by Carol Brettell and Alana Thirkettle and is a creative and dynamic dance school. The club is a highly successful top ranking club in Australia in both teams and individual level. New students are always welcome and made to feel very comfortable, we always love to have new students. Check out our New Members section and get started!
